MEMSIC was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Tianjin of China. They have R&D facilities in San Jose, Wuxi, Shanghai, and manufacturing, packaging and testing facilities in Wuxi and Shanghai of China. Memsic provide advanced IC sensor solutions based on integrated MEMS technology and mixed signal circuit design.
Accelerometers
MEMSIC is the first and only company to offer a single chip accelerometer using a standard CMOS process. MEMSIC has a unique, patented thermal technology upon which we have based out entire family of consumer, automotive and industrial accelerometers. The MEMSIC accelerometers unique patented thermal technology (based on the concept of heat transfer by natural convection) which offers a tiny, highly sensitive, high shock survivability (typ > 50Kg) package with a wide temperature range which is ideal for the consumer, industrial or automotive market.
Magnetometers
MEMSIC's family of magnetometer components are available in both dual-axis and three-axis versions. They are based on anisotropic magnetoresistive (AMR) Permalloy technology sensors, which have superior accuracy and response time characteristics, while consuming significantly less power than alternative technologies. The MEMSIC magnetometers are ideal for electronic compass, GPS navigation and magnetic field detection applications.
