The Ultimate SiRFstarIII Module
With the A1084 modules Vincotech launches its most sophisticated SiRFstarIII-based GPS receivers. The modules feature not only a very low power consumption - a must in many systems today - but have a focus on a seamless integration into GPS applications, such as portable devices or telematics units. Here, a built-in antenna, mostly a passive one is preferred , is number one requirement. The answer is the A1084-B, the basic version, which supports both passive and active antennas. Quite often, an external antenna connector is desired for GPS performance, reliability, or security reasons. This is where the A1084-A comes in handy. The module holds a second antenna pin and an antenna switch allowing the application to selected between the two inputs. The very compact SiRFStarIII GPS receiver modules come completely shielded with a lid and with benchmark-setting GPS performance on a very small footprint.
Both A1084 products cover the complete industrial temperature range from -40°C to +85°C - one more feature that makes it easy to vote for the A1084's.

A1088-A
Automotive GPS Power
With the A1088-A module Vincotech extends its GPS receiver portfolio by an automotive product. Built around the GSC3eLP GPS chip the A1088 holds AEC-Q compliant components only and is covered by a shield. This makes the module specifically suitable for automotive applications. The SiRF chip itself guarantees for excellent performance - certainly in the complete temperature range from -40° to +85°C. Customers benefit additionally from the fact that the A1088-A was developed according to the TS16949 automotive standard ensuring highest quality levels.
The A1088-A and the accompanying evaluation board allow Vincotech to offer now fast integration of GPS technology for customers in the automotive environment by addressing the specific requirements of this branch.

Vincotech's A1080-A is developed for indoor use and is based on the SiRF Star III low power chip. It not only benchmarks sensitivity and power consumption, this receiver is also 100% compatible with the A1037-A GPS module. Guaranteeing one of the smallest footprints and easy implementation, the A1080-A can even be used in handheld devices and other size optimized battery powered applications. The A1080-B extends the standard temperature range of -30°C to +85°C down to -40°C.

The Answer To All GPS Questions
With the new GPS antenna module A1035-H Vincotech answers the most important questions of today's GPS applications: High performance in combination with new features at lowest system costs. Built around SiRF's GSC3 chip set the A1035-H shows an excellent sensitivity of -159dBm along with a power consumption as low as 86mW. Beside the on-module antenna, the A1035-H GPS module supports an active external antenna. One can choose between these two antenna by simply changing the state of an input pin. This will come handy in many application, where usually an external antenna is used for best performance and the internal one can be used as a backup. Furthermore, this complete GPS antenna module is a Surface Mount Device (SMD) which guarantees lowest assembly costs as no manual operation is necessary.
