Founded in 2003, TDK InvenSense is based in San Jose, California, with test operations in Taiwan and sales and applications support offices in Taiwan, Korea, Japan and China.
InvenSense's microphone portfolio builds on a strong heritage of industry firsts, including continuous improvement of MEMS microphone SNR, ever-higher integration levels, and even lower power consumption. Technological advances like these have enabled machine speech recognition & active noise cancellation to become commonplace in consumer devices and other applications. InvenSense combines the capability to sense audio along with cutting-edge motion detection, which is important for many contextual awareness applications.
The Invensense solid state gyroscopes have an extremely small form factor and offer a high level of integration, performance, reliability and cost effectiveness.
Their technology comprises of four proprietary components: the patented Nasiri-Fabrication process, the advanced MEMS gyroscope design, the mixed-signal circuitry that provides sensor signal processing and enables Sensor Fusion technology critical to the Motion Processing platform, and the Motion Processing library & Motion Application software solutions. Including smallest form factor at 3x3x0.75mm, high sensitivity of 23mV/dps, lowest phase delay with 140Hz low pass filter (LPF), lowest noise of 0.014°/sec/_Hz and highest shock resistance at 10,000g
